Light & Power, a power and utility company supplying power
to the McGrath, Alaska area, became a customer of Spectrum Wireless
two years ago. Remarks Ernie Baumgartner, General Manager, "When

Investment and planning firm Shilanski
& Associates, specializing in securities, mutual funds, and stocks,
realized that they needed alternatives when they discovered how much time

 The
City of Homer in Alaska, with approximately 4000 residents
in the city, supplies the municipality with services such as the
Port and City Hall. They realized they had a challenge on their
hands when it came to accessing information between the Port and
City Hall buildings. Previously, much of the information was downloaded
through a T-1 line. "We wanted to get the application working
right," says Steve Bambakidis." We were looking at different
options for connectivity between the buildings. But, because of
the distance between the two buildings of about six miles, we couldn't
use DSL. We looked at different wireless solutions and on all points
of pricing, service, and other factors that we considered, we chose
